Bus

hi does any one of its possible to take a bus from the ferry Ouistreham terminal to Arromanches we are thinking of spendin a week there and doing some day trips in the surrounding areas

I%26#39;m pretty sure there is a bus from Ouistreham to Arromanches but without a car what are you going to do for a week? Buses are very few and far between in the Normandy countryside and no tours leave from Arromanches. If you don%26#39;t have a car Bayeux would be a better base.

The bus from the ferry terminal itself, that turns up just after the ferry has docked, goes to Caen both the town centre and the rail/bus station.

How does one pay for the bus from the ferry terminal to Caen. Pay on board or buy a ticket from where?

thanks,

Looking at the map, it appears that to get from Ouistreham to Arromanches takes 3 buses - Route 1, route 3, and route 74 (in that order

rent a car

In Arromanches you can spend a day visiting the museum the cliffs and the 360° cinema, then what will you do.

For the cost of two d-day minibus tours you can hire a car for a week and have an audio guide. There is so much to visit in the area. Honfleur, Mont St Michel, Caen, Bayeux. You need a car.

Look at ada.fr
