restaurant: le florimond

Hi-

My boyfriend and I will be traveling to Paris the last weekend in february and I have read reviews online that the restaurant Le Florimond is very good--and not too expensive. I have a couple questions...

1. We are both in our early 20s but LOVE food and trying new food. Is the environment/atmosphere okay for our age group?? (sometimes restaurants are geared towards older crowds--we have had a number of experiences where we were looked down upon b/c of our age...)

2. (most important). I am a vegetarian (but I eat fish). Will I be able to find enough selection on the menu??

3. Is it better to go during lunch hours or at night (i.e. does the menu/price change at night??)

1)The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff (I think it%26#39;s a family-run place but I could be wrong) make this a really nice place, quite apart from the food which is fantastic. Rest assured that no-one will look down on you.

2) Don%26#39;t remember how veggie-friendly the menu was, but I did have fish, sorry to not be able to be of help here.

3) Generally speaking dinner prices tend to be higher, I don%26#39;t know if the prix-fixe menu was available at night or not. We went for lunch.

Do they have a website to make reservations from the States or should I just fax them??? Is it better for lunch or dinner? and how does it compare to La Fontaine de Mars?

Use a 1010 number and call them. Yes, it is a fine restaurant with a great local following.

Evening menus are more expensive than lunch menus.
