We are taking the Eurostar from London %26amp; then renting a car once we get to Paris to visit the Normandy battle fields. Does the train stop elsewhere on the way into Paris besides the Gare du Nord? Does it go to Degaule Airport? I know we need to book our tickets asap. Thanks.

Gare du Nord is the only stop

The only stop in Paris is Gare du Nord.
Rather than having to cope iwth Paris traffiuc have you considered getting off the Eurostar at Lille and driving from there? Or getting a train out of Paris to Caen to get your car?

As noted above, there is a EUROSTAR station at CALAIS-International (limited service), just beyond the French end of the tunnel and another at LILLE-Europe, . There are NO other stops until the EUROSTAR terminus at PARIS-Gare du Nord.
If your %26#39;plan%26#39; is to tour the Normandy region, then your best bet will be to disembark at either CALAIS or LILLE-Europe and begin your journey through Normandy from here.

Thanks for the advice. We had considered getting off at Lille %26amp; driving to the Normandy area but since we are going onto Paris %26amp; will fly out of their home, thought it would be easier %26amp; probably cheaper to just take the train all the way into Paris %26amp; rent a car there. Getting out of Paris will be a test but since it will be Good Friday maybe the traffic will be kind to us.

There are two Paris destination by Eurostar, the first and main one is Gare du Nord.
The second is Disneyland Paris, which it travels to daily, leaving London at 09.53, and arriving at Disneyland at 13.34. It doesn%26#39;t stop at CDG Airport, even though I assume it travels through it.
Unfortunately, Disneyland is the wrong side of town for you. Another alternative for you would be to train from London to Bayeux or Caen, and hire your car there. It will probably be quicker, and the driver gets to see more of France than the back end of the truck in front...

The Eurostar does not go to CDG. It ends at Gare du Nord. They will not let you book before 60 days. That is how it was last year for us. You pick up the Eurostar at St. Pancreas in London and off you go. They usually make a stop on the England side before going thru the tunnel.

I think 120 days out is the booking window. Right now you can book for July 14th.
