Hi Everyone,
We are going to Disney at the beginning of April and would really appreciate some advice. We would like to go to Cafe Mickey one evening for a meal with the characters - do you think it would be better to go on a Saturday night when perhaps it%26#39;s busier and more atmosphere or on a Sunday? Also would previous visitors recommend trying to book a downstairs or upstairs table?
Any other tips would be great.
Thank you. 8:o)

Hi NewcastleMax
Its always busy in Cafe Mickey so I don´t think its better to go on a Saturday or Sunday, Just choose the day You feel for, If You go on a Saturday You might loose some happenings in the park, so maybe You should go on a Sunday instead.
I like best to sit downstairs. I feel more comfertable downstairs, don´t ask me why I just do.

hi
doesnt matter what night you go its always full, we had a 6.30 booking on a fri night it was packed bear in mind if you hav say 8pm booking you might not get seated straight away when we were leaving after 8 there was 2 ques one for people with bookings and one with non booking both were out the door. we were seated downstairs i had requested it(easier with 2 pre-schoolers.

Thank you both so much for your quick replies. I think we will book for the Sunday night at about 630pm. Have you tried the set menu or a la carte?

Hi NewcastleMax
I have tryed the set menu and a la carte, and I prefer the a la carte. To much food on the set menu and the steak wasn´t up to what I expect for a steak.
I like the pinoccio pasta, vegetables and veal its ok and after that I need my coffe.

hi irishpatmalaga
would def recommend for preschoolers i took my 2 there twice on last trip they loved it!! the characters come around each table and they got there photos taken with dem and autographs, it a great way for dem to meet dem as the ques in the park can be crazy.
kids meal in 16.50 main dessert and drink.
adult set menu 30 euro starter main dessert
you can just order a main course for 20/25euro
i ordered pluto steak 22 euro and glass of house white 4.50 ( i never eat 3 cources)
the kids pasta meetballs is huge would hav done the 2 of them, the chicken sticks arent dat great you get a baked potato my daughter wouldnt eat so i ended up given her my chips and she had a little of her sister pasta, the food is only ok but i will def be going back simply because the girls luved it so much there.

we have arrived back from disneyland today and found it very expensive, the kids had the set menu, which consisted of a mickey mouse head small pizza, dessert buffet and a drink and i thought that was extremely expensive for the small amount they got, we had the 30 euro set menu which was bad quality for what we got, steak was small and chewy, and the apple flan that we had for dessert was hard, we were very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food, but the kids enjoyed seeing the characters
