First Trip to France - Help

Hello

I am currently planning my first ever trip to France for May and would very much appreciate any help and advice that anybody could offer.

We are planning to stay for 1 week (give or take a day or two) and would like to stay somewhere in the country with a pool and with lots of local walks restaurants etc, but also near a train station so that we can go day trips into the centre of Paris. Hopefully no more than 1 hour or so by train into the centre each day!

Any advice about places to stay etc would be great!

Thanks

Andrew

You could try Versailles, it%26#39;s got lot%26#39;s of hotels to choose from and is convenient to get into the centre of Paris. You don%26#39;t mention your budget, but look through the Hotrl reviews on Trip Advisor and see which are in your range.
