My family of six people is traveling to Paris for a couple of days in June. I have found rooms in the HOTEL BRITANNIQUE or a three bedroom apt. by the Palais Royale with paris vacation apartments. Which is a better choice? They seem to be fairly similar location wise and the price is close also. We usually stay by the Eiffel Tower but this seemed like a nice central location.

After many visits to Paris where I stayed in a hotel, on my most recent trip, I rented an apt for the first time for the first part of the trip and I would definitely do it again. It%26#39;s really nice when you%26#39;re with more than one other person to be able to gather in the living room or around the dining room or kitchen table. And not having go out for coffee/breakfast unless you want to is nice as well.
I%26#39;m not familiar with either the hotel or apt you mention but as a general rule, I%26#39;d go for the apt given you%26#39;re traveling with 6 people.

I don%26#39;t have any personal knowledge of either the hotel or the apartment, but here is a recent thread about that particular apartment you are looking at:

I also looked online at the apartment, and it looks wonderful! The location is great too.

Thanks pmmcTO for the thread. I wasn%26#39;t sure about the area but it sounds like it%26#39;s a great location and will give us more room. I think I have my answer! Merci.
