Summer Ski

I am traveling to France this June and am curious about summer skiing on the glacier, as we missed our annual ski trip this year in the states. The website says it is only until around 1 p.m. each day, but it looks like plenty of runs will be open.

Has anyone been? And would it be worth driving down from Annecy?
