Ski in late March/ early April

Hey,

My stay in Val D%26#39;isére will be from 28th March to 4th April and I%26#39;d like to know how are the snow conditions in val disere in that time of the year.

I booked my chalet in ski-france.com, and i%26#39;d also like to know if anyone had any kind of problem by booking in this website.

Thank you,

Hi,

Unfortunately i cannot comment on ski-france.com as i have never used them ,but as for the skiing and snow conditions they will be excellent ...all the Tarentaise resorts are having massive snow fall at this time and this will ensure a good reliable base for the season.

You can check out the Val webcams on the link below..

Also the world skiing championships are in Val this season (around the time you are going i think so you will be able to see what the resort is like on Eurosport when the races are run.

Many regards and have an enjoyable ,exciting and safe trip.

Hi,

The championships are the first two weeks in Feb actually - I watched them preparing the Face de Bellevarde for race conditions from the Olympique bubble lift yesterday morning!

But yes, snow late March should be excellent - I had some awesome powder days well into April last season.

Cheers,

Matt

When you get a bit closer to your trip you can check the conditions here.... http://www.wherecaniski.com/resorts/search?name=Val+d%27Isere

I was in Tignes (which is very close by) recently and the conditions were great.
