Suggestions as to where to stay in Nice

I would like some suggestions as to where to stay in Nice. I would like to be close to the bus station, preferably in Vieux Nice. I don%26#39;t need anything luxurious or a lot of space but would like a kitchette. I have contacted a few properties but they are not available from May 15-21 2009.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi KelleBelle3: rue du Pont Vieux in Vieux Nice is totally convenient for the bus station and Cathedrale/Vieille Ville tram stop so try googling for places along there.

|||

Non-availability is probably because Monaco F1 Grand Prix is 21-24 May 2009.

i would widen the search to places outside the old town and along the tramline if you are having problems with availability.

Also look at residences de tourisme - which are little serviced apartments /aparthotels

There is a central reservation thing here for Nice including residences

Oups I did not see the request for kitchenette... but having been to this hotel they leave you reheat meal in microwave and eat in breakfast room even at night. Also near the hotel many little cheap restaurants as well than in Old Nice (10 minutes walking)( Jesus, Nissa Socca etc) which are quite good

Hope it will help you...
