Driving over the mountains

Is it a good bet to drive from Toulouse to Spain via Foix and on, in early April? It looks more interesting than via Perpignan.

Hi

Depending where you are going in Spain, we have a bed and breakfast which many guests use as a stop over in a village called St Beat, only 7 km from the border of Spain on the route to Llerida/Madrid.

If you are interested, please respond to the posting, email us at ronald.mc-gregor@wanadoo.fr or ring us on 0033 561 895 572.

Enjoy your holiday.

The drive from Toulouse via Foix over the Pyrenees is very good - with great views (and shopping!!) in Andorra.

Don%26#39;t go through the Envalira tunnel, as this will cut out some of the most scenic bits (although it is a great way of saving time!).

The roads are reasonable, and the snow should be decreasing by then!
