Bus No. 200.

I will be flying Ryanair to Nice shortly from Dublin. Which terminal does Ryanair use and which terminal do I get the no.200 bus from? Is this the best bus to use to get to Antibes from Nice airport?

Thanks

ryanair uses terminal 1

the 200 bus leaves from terminal 1-its the best [only] bus that goes to Antibes

Thanks SelkieNice. I notice on the Antibes stop it says %26quot;Dugommier%26quot;. Is this a street name?

|||

Yes Dugommier is a Street. The Bus from the Airport stops in Briand just off Pl du Gaulle, on the return it is on the timetable to stop in Dugommier but in the Summer due to building work it was stopping just before the traffic lights before it crossed over to Dugommier - maybe someone can confirm where it is stopping at the moment, if it still at its new stopping point my post below might be of some help, otherwise the Tourist Info Office in Pl du Gaulle will point you in the right direction.

Make sure that you put your hand out to stop the bus both at the airport and in Antibes on the way back. Otherwise it may not stop.

Also if there are more than a couple of other people waiting, expect an unholy rush and scrum to get on.

Particularly at the airport. There is no such thing as a queue!

Apart from that it%26#39;s a good reliable service and costs an unbelievable 1€.

And while in Antibes use the local Envibus...anywhere for 1€.

Have a great time, you lucky b.....d!

Thanks. Does the Envibus move outside of Antibes? Does it go anywhere interesting?

|||

Excuse my butting in, only its dark and raining here in London and I am suffering Riviera Withdrawal symptoms.

Envibus almost the only way to access some of the inland villages like Biot

|||

But in all you like NiceLife!

Locals would probably argue but I%26#39;ve found the Envibus Service great, mainly on time and all for a euro.

I%26#39;ve been to Biot, Vallauris, Valbonne Village and the beaches at Golfe Juan and Juan les Pins on the bus.

Take a look at the website as there are places to visit and walks listed on the site.

Thanks for the info. Does the Envibus have a main bus station in Antibes or does it just pass through? Biot looks lovely and maybe somewhere to have a nice lunch? Any of the other towns serviced by the local bus worth a look?

There is a small bus station just at the top of the pedestrianised area, the buses on the map that stop at GR Antibes, the GR is Gare Routier - the Bus Station, if they dont stop here, they stop in the streets off Place De Gaulle. Biot is lovely, Valbonne Village is picturesque but smaller, you can take the No 200 that you got from the Airport and get off at I think Cagnes Sur Mer Train Station and transfer to the No 400 to St Paul De Vence.

Just back from Antibes. Thanks for all your help. We got the no 200 bus from the airport to Antibes for an incredible €1. The trip was very uncomfortable though. It was very very hot on the bus with no ventilation whatsoever. The bus was so packed with people that they were even standing beside the driver. Do buses have air conditioning or is it just not used, I wonder?. I noticed that all the windows that could be opened were closed tight. My efforts to open one of the windows was in vain.

Still we had a great time except for the dog poo that was everywhere. We really had to be careful wherever we walked. Our trip to BIOT was great, thanks for the recommendations.
