Hello,
I%26#39;ve been going through the forum and can%26#39;t find much feedback about %26quot;Feels Like Home in Paris%26quot;.
Is there anyone who has used them before? We%26#39;re interested in renting the Caulaincourt appartment - feelslikehomeinparis.com/Caulaincourtclassiq…
Any idea on if this location is OK? Any one use this agent and apartment before?
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks,

That location is a nice neighborhood... just a bit distant for sightseeing, other than Montmartre...

I%26#39;ve not rented apartments but have heard of the agency. Try searching the forum just for the agency name...

Hello NeeNee8888,
This is Yetunde. I was just looking up references to our rentals when I came across your posting. I manage Feels Like Home in Paris, so of course I am biased when I say that I think that we offer a great service to travelers seeking comfort and safety. I also live in Paris in the Montmartre area and do not personally find it too far to get around to the sights. Right in front of this apartment is the 80 bus which takes you to the Champs Elysee, where you can shop till you drop or you can climb up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. It also gets you to St Germain as does the metro that serves this area (line 12).
No, Montmartre is not %26quot;central%26quot; as one would say about the 5th, or 6th but it has a special soul that I think you would enjoy and given the efficiency of the Paris transportation system you are never far away from anywhere in Paris - unless you prefer to get there in 5 minutes or less - and where%26#39;s the fun in that?
We hope you will discover this area and even if you don%26#39;t rent with us, I think you should not rule Montmartre out of your list.

There is one review on Slowtrav for this agency. It is for a different apartment, but the reviewer gave the agency a glowinf review. You can read it here: www.slowtrav.com/france/vr/review.asp?n=2908
I wouldn%26#39;t have a problem staying in that area of Montmartre. I like staying a little off the beaten track. The metro system in Paris is very good, and the busses can also be very convenient.
If you do decide to stay there (or wherever you stay), please come back and post a review.
