There is a Roman Catholic Church. Mass times will be posted outside.

There are a few shops - mainly for food - and at least one restaurant called El Nyarro.

Hi

Yes there is a catholic church in Alenya and a handful of village shops. When we used to go, we always found it is easier to pick up some essentials from Perpignan or from the hypermarkets.

In June the weather is lovely although it can get quite hot in land. The beaches are close by or just head for the hills Ceret and beyond are lovely.

Hope that helps

Shopping areas :

In Canet (the village) there is a LIDL supermarket (on the road to alenya) and an Intermarché.

In Canet (Beach) - there is a Casino.

On the road to Perpignan there is a Carrefour.

Places to see:

I suggest you buy the Michelin Green Guide for the area. Collioure is not to be missed.

The weather should be nice in June.
