Yes, there is a water park called Aqualand as well as a very good horseback riding club.. a lovely and cool botanical garden worth a visit and a small casino....

Lots of restaurants around the harbor starting at around € 10/12 (without wine) for the menu du jour.

Saint Cyprien is located between Canet and Argeles.

Canet sports a huge disco area called La Luna with several night clubs. Argeles has quite a lot of discos too.

I would say that Sazint Cyprien is not as wild as Majorca........

Many thanks for the reply

Would you recommend Canet or Argeles over St Cyprien as an overall holiday base??

Er. shouldn%26#39;t this be in the Languedoc/Roussillon forum?

Although there is also a St Cyprien in the Dordogne...

I reposted it in there also..

Good idea - I hope you know where you are going!

I%26#39;ve been to both and they are very different but both pleasant.
