Hotel (3 stars) - Paris - with parents

Hi,

Am planning to go with parents to Paris (they are in their 60s) in April and am looking for a place to stay for 2 days.

Main wishes for the hotel:

- Nice (e.g. 3 star) but not too expensive (max 100-120 eur per night per triple room)

- Location: Doesn%26#39;t have to be in the centre but not too far from the metro

- If possible, nice area (parents%26#39; first time in Paris)

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!!

There are very nice 2 star hotels in Paris and they are more likely to fit your budget.

Can try Tourisme Hotel, clean, close to transportation and the Eiffel Tower http://www.hotel-paris-tourism.com/index.html

Here%26#39;s another one, just above your rate:

- by Bastille / Marais; 130€ for a triple

and..

- by Opera Garnier / Madeleine; 115€ for a triple

Thanks a lot for both replies, very helpful!

Inna, have you stayed at Tourisme Hotel? If so, did you like it? Are the rooms really small?.. It looks good and easy for getting anywhere by metro.

Thanks!

I ended up choosing another hotel, but considered staying at this one when I thought there%26#39;d be three of us going.

Their price for a triple is about a 100 Euro and the reviews + what I could dig up by %26quot;searching%26quot; the forum was good.

Oh, you%26#39;re very welcome.

You%26#39;ll not find a 3 star in Paris for 100-120 euro.

Check out Hotel du Lys; it%26#39;s a great location, two minutes walk to two metro stations (Odeon and St. Michel), and it%26#39;s on the edge of the 6th, near the 5th.
