Bus from Aix to Nice airport

I have tried the links to the bus sites and can find buses from Nice airport to Aix but cannot find information re bus from Aix to Nice airport. I have to leave on a flight at 4.30pm on a Sunday (in September) back to Australia.

Can anyone give specific information please?

Hi, the only links I could find to the timetable were broken, which may mean they are putting up new timetables. You might try contacting the Aix tourist office infos@aixenprovencetourism.com and asking them, they are very helpful.

go here put in either leg of the journey and you find the times -they don%26#39;t seem to change timetables

However you can%26#39;t buy or reserve online - you have to go to the point de vente - Nice bus station or the offices in place massena Nice , Aix bus station or marseille bus station

Thanks that link is great and I now have the info I need.

How far is the Aix bus station from the centre of the town?

Thanks I will try that link for other info!

I just returned from Aix and the bus station is a ten minute walk from the center, down Avenue des Belges, on the right side of the roundabout after la Rotonde. I had looked at the Phoceen online schedule prior to my trip and it was the same as what I found in Nice and Aix. The buses to Nice stop at the airport before going into the city. I forget whether the bus stopped at both terminals but it isn%26#39;t important since there are shuttles that run continuously between the two. The travel time varies according to departure times since some Aix-Nice routes make more stops or don%26#39;t take the autoroute. Schedules are posted in front of the Aix bus station office and then you can purchase tickets same day or in advance inside at guichet 4. I traveled both directions in early March and the buses were not full but I don%26#39;t know what is like at other times of the year. It is a beautiful, enjoyable trip between the two cities.

Very helpful, thanks SZ. I will take note of your info! Where did you stay in AIX?

I am a great fan of self-catering appartment/hotels because of the flexibility they offer. I stayed at the Adagio Aix Centre which is a part of the Accor chain and was very happy with it.

I just noticed that you said you%26#39;ll be traveling on a Sunday to the airport. Do check the schedule carefully because I arrived in Nice on a Sunday and the bus service was more limited.
