fennochios has re-opened for the season

Arlequin is still shut with no further message about when its re-opening apart from %26#39;march%26#39;

Roberto shut Arlequin last year for the Winter around the same time - and reopened around end of March. I guess I%26#39;ll just have to wait for my daily fix until then.

selkie - do you know what the new flavour for 2009 will be at Fennochio? (hope it%26#39;s an improvement on rice pudding last year!)

NiceLife-I walk past Arlequin most days so I%26#39;ll keep you updated.

allaboutNice - I didn%26#39;t check the flavours as I was on my way to and from Shapko%26#39;s jazz bar

Hopefully I%26#39;ll get a chance at the weekend or next week.

Arlequin%26#39;s menu promised smoked salmon and fennel - sounds sublime but I%26#39;ve not caught it yet. I think he nocks up small batches of specials and when its gone its gone, and onto another. I missed durian too. Perhaps just as well.

Some of the asian supermarkets in the area sell durian - it smells really nice to me which the woman in one of the shops says means it will probably taste nice as well.

I chickened out of buying one though.

I have a feeling fennochios had some durian icecream last year too

NiceLife - the fridges and freezers were being unloaded and put back into the shop at Arlequin today so I%26#39;d expect it to re-open in the next couple of days
