Paris to Nice

What is the least expensive and fastest way to travel from Paris to Nice and back for a couple of days? We will be flying in to Charles de Gaulle on April 8 morning, and thinking of taking a flight to Nice from the same airport, unless taking the train is cheaper.

If you can get a PREM fare, the train would be cheaper. Check the SNCF web site or bahn.de, and look for discounts for two or more people travelling together.

EasyJet flies of of CDG to Nice...

as low as 42 Euros each one way...

There%26#39;s something I like about trains. There are not enough of them in the states, so whenever I%26#39;m overseas, I%26#39;ll take them if I can. I know it doesn%26#39;t answer your question. Sorry.

I agree with you Don! But I figured for the 2 days the OP mentioned a plane would be faster being as he is at CDG anyway.

I took the TGV to Nice from Paris last summer... it was very pleasant but it did take 5 and a half hours.

Took the Thalys Paris-Amsterdam-Paris the summer before that. I bet I haven%26#39;t been on a train at home in Canada in over 30 years!
