I have booked return tickets to Bourg, but plans have changed and now need to get off at Moutiers. Eurostar tell me that I won%26#39;t be able to reboard the train at Moutiers on the way back as the ticket will say from Bourg on it, and as a consequence they want to charge me an extra £50.
Has anyone ever done what I want to do, and have they had a problem reboarding the train?

Hi,
I am not sure about this one....but it seems that as you have paid for a longer train journey as Bourg is further up the valley than Moutiers it sounds like a bit of profiteering to me on Eurostars part.
I think you could chance it...after all once you are on the train at Moutiers who%26#39;s to say you did not get on it at the station in Bourg ,after all you%26#39;re ticket lets you board there and who is to say you did not.
It%26#39;s probably a stuffed shirt in the eurostar office just talking company policy, once on the ground things would be different i am sure...although could not say 100%.
If you hear anything concrete on this kind of problem anywhere else it would be interesting to know how thy handle this.

Hi again,
Thinking about this some more it may be to do with a head count of passengers bookings and actual passenger attendance, once there a quick call to the station at Bourg saying you have a booking to and from Bourg station but will be getting off and then back on in Moutiers instead due to a change in itinery may iron out any problems.
