That%26#39;s a really tough question to answer, because it will depend on how much you want to see in Paris, what type of restaurants you plan to go to etc. I can give you a general idea of what things might cost, so you can budget accordingly.
Breakfasts in Paris are usually just a coffee and a pastry. You can pick these up pretty much anywhere in Paris for around 3-5 euros per person. A %26quot;sit down%26quot; breakfast with juice, bread, jam, croissant and coffee at a cafe is probably between 6 and 10 euros per person.
Lunches can range from a 5 euro street vendor baguette sandwich to a fancy meal at a nice restaurant. You can probably have a decent lunch at a cafe for around 20 euros each.
Dinner can also be quite a range. I think for the most part you should budget around 35 or 40 euros each for dinner with wine at a casual place. A nicer Michelin starred restaurant can cost you upwards of 700 euros for 2 (or more!).
If you plan to visit many museums and monuments during your stay, you might want to check out the museum pass which you pay for up front and it gives you unlimited access to many of the museums within a set number of consecutive days (it is available in 2 days, 4 days or 6 days). Otherwise, most museum entrance fees will be around 8 or 9 euros (Louvre, d%26#39;Orsay), and less for the smaller museums. Some of the city run museums have free entrance.
The Eiffel tower is not covered by the museum pass, and I believe the cost for the elevator to the top level is around 11 euros.
You can get a pass for the metro (not sure of the cost), or you can buy a carnet which is a pack of 10 tickets which I think costs around 11 euros (the metro is much cheaper than our TTC!).
Restaurants that are situated close to tourist attractions will always be more expensive. Have a wander around and check the menus and prices before you enter a place (all restaurants/cafes etc. have their menus posted).

I recommend that you buy Rick Steves Paris guide book. In it, he outlines a 7 day Paris itinerary.

You must take a cruise on the Seine (no need for dinner cruise).
Go around sunset and you%26#39;ll see all the monuments lit up.
The Eiffel Tower usually has such a long wait that it%26#39;s almost better to go to other places that are high up (top floor of the Pompidou Center, Mont Martre, top floor of Galeries LaFayette dept. store etc.) and see all of Paris including the Eiffel Tower.
The skyscraper Montparnesse Tower also has an upper floor from which to view all of Paris.
