Anyone have experience with the new Carte Orange?

I know that as of now, the Carte Orange is replaced with a card similar to London%26#39;s Oyster. As usual however, the RATP website wants you to think that if you%26#39;re a tourist, you cant buy it! (As soon as you choose English it gives you all the usual drivel about the Visite).

So, what I%26#39;m hoping for, is that someone with experience of the new card could post a brief summary of how it works, how to acquire it, what you need for it (photo size, any paper work?) and where you can buy it! (CDG ?)

Thanks in advance!

Hi MOI, before the posts start about what to call it etc here is a blow by blow description of how you as a tourist can get the pass and the %26quot;oyster%26quot;. The photo is a bit smaller than the usual passport photo so you may have to cut it down a bit. You can buy it at most metros and other rail stations. I bought mine at Gare de Lyon
