Paris 4 days- Mar 19-23 2009.

I have been to paris three times but am going with my husband( an artist) for his first time. I would like to find a romantic hotel which is in the center of cafes, bistros, etc. as well as near the major sites. Is that possible and if so any ideas? Any good romantic restaurants or cafes or things to do? Any info would be much appreciated.
