Transfer and restaurant advice

I%26#39;m taking a girl to Paris for dinner for our first date (just to Beauvais city centre - short timescale).....can anyone please give me details of how to/how much and how long to get to Beauvais city centre from Beauvais airport, and if anyone can recommend any nice restaurants while we%26#39;re there it would be much appreciated....

Thanks!

Never been to Beauvais, but maybe some of this data will help:

%26lt;%26gt;Town of Beauvais website:

http://www.beauvais.fr/eng/

Under %26#39;Tourism%26#39; there is a topic for %26quot;Where to Eat%26quot;

%26lt;%26gt;Under the Beauvais Airport website:

www.aeroportbeauvais.com/index.php?lang=eng

there is information about a shuttle between the airport and the town of Beauvais:

- Hover over the %26quot;Timetable%26quot; Link, and then click on the link for %26quot;Shuttle Airport-Downtown%26quot;

You%26#39;re taking the lady to BEAUVAIS for dinner ?? Beauvais ain%26#39;t PARIS...ain%26#39;t even close (approx 80 km north of Paris---but we%26#39;re not just talkin%26#39; %26#39;mileage%26#39; here). In any event it will take perhaps 25-30 minutes be regional bus between your BVA arrival terminal to most locations in downtown Beauvais and 20-25 mins. by taxi. Just as a word of advice...if you tell a date that you%26#39;re taking her to Paris for dinner as a first date...it%26#39;s probably be best if you actually tooks her to PARIS. I%26#39;ll bet Edinburgh and its immediate enviorns has some really good restaurants.

Do you cover airfare for your dates? Because if you do, I%26#39;ll go on a first date with you to Paris :)

You are a smart guy.. any girl who go all the way from Edinburgh to Beauvais for a meal and back--Beauvais?? oh-my-God!!- and still talk to you after that is to be cherished for ever.. there is a truly great Gothic church in Beauvais but one wouldn%26#39;t dream of flying that far for a meal there..
