I will be staying at the France Albion Hotel in Paris during the last week of May. How is the neighborhood? Any advise on places to eat? Good hotel? Walking distance to major sights reasonable?

How is the neighborhood?
- - from the Reviews:
%26quot;.. It has 2 metro stations, a bakery (that sells organic fruit juices too!) and a fruit %26amp; veggie stand, and a pharmacy all within, oh 300 steps ..... a very good area which is full of good restaurants without being too busy nor noisy..... One street over there are fantastic bakeries %26amp; fruit markets for a cheap eat. Plus you can walk up the hill to Abbesses where there are some funky cafes %26amp; shops.... %26quot;
Any advise on places to eat?
- - from the Reviews:
%26quot;.. there are tons of michelin guide rated restaurants within a couple of blocks and about a 10 minute walk to the famous Chartier restaurant... We found some nice little restaurants in the vicinity of the Hotel....
- - from the %26quot;restaurants near the France Albion%26quot; link to the right:
* Dell Orto - Great Italian restaurant ... Mouth-watering! ... Could use some paint but what%26#39;s on the plate makes you forget... home-made bread...
* La Tute - food style is basque/south western french, it is tasty, well presented .... The wines were all very reasonably priced.... The food was good, straightforward and unpretentious but not exceptional ...
Walking distance to major sights reasonable?
- - from the Reviews:
%26quot;.. Hotel is well located. 3 min walk to metro, 15-20 min walk to Montmartre, and 15 min walk to Opera to catch a bus to airport. Gare du Nord is 10 min ride by bus 43......... There are 2 metro stations (ST George and Notre Dame de Lorette) which are practically 1 minute away from which you can get to all the attractions of Paris. By foot you can easily get to Montmatre, Sacre Ceur and Opera Garnier area..... The hotel is walking distance to the Opera and Montmartre area.... %26quot;
--%26gt; That should be a good start :)
