Reims to Paris to catch a plane

My husband and I are planning a trip to France in May. We would like spend our final days of vacation in the Champagne region and had planned on staying in Reims. We fly out at 10:00 am from Paris CDG. Is it possible to stay the night in Reims and make a 10:00 flight from CDG? I know there is a TGV from Champange-Ardenne to the TGV station at CDG but I do not believe it arrives early enough (not sure what is acceptable in Europe for transatlantic flight check in). Would it be better to take the late TGV out of Champagne and spend the night at (gasp) an airport hotel? Thoughts and recommendations are greatly appreciated.

You need to be at the airport 2:00 hrs before departure. Champage-Ardennes is a bit out of the city so you need time to get there, and adding in possibility of lateness I would sadly sleep at an airport hotel the last night.

We are doing pretty much the same next weekend, so we decided to just stay the last night at an airport hotel. Our flight is at 8:45 am

Of course, we may just take the RER into Paris for one last dinner.

Thank you for the information- it confirms what I had been thinking. Good idea about one last dinner in Paris. That can definitely allow us to end our vacation on a high note. Happy travels!
