18th arrondisement/Catacombs

We are staying in the 18th arrondisement for 3 days. Can anyone suggest nice places to eat breakfast and dinner? Also, we want to see the catacombs but have no idea where they are in relation to our accommodation - can we walk easily?

The catacombs are nearly fully across Paris from where you are staying, so really too far to walk. Take the metro to Denfert-Rochereau. Walk up the stairs, look across the street - there is probably a line of people waiting in front of a wooden door in an old stone toll house. That%26#39;s the entrance to the catacombs.

For restaurants, type %26quot;montmartre restaurants%26quot;, %26quot;dining in Montmartre%26quot;, etc into the forum search, b/c the question is fairly common.

Thanks travelnutty. I didn%26#39;t know it was Montmartre!

OK, first thing tomorrow, you go to a book store and get a Paris guidebook, LOL! I can see you need to pinpoint some landmarks and start getting the layout of Paris.
